Every now and then, I wander around the web, flip through magazines and books to curate beautiful Visuals created by talented artists. It is a way for me to learn and study visuals across mediums and eras.  Artwork on this page is not created or owned by me

Love the mix of environmental imagery, with the abstract illustrative style of George Condo. It is interesting to see how fashion, environmental documentary, illustrative styles communicate with each other. One common visual element across these styles which I am drawn to very often is textures.

Recently been interested in fashion editorial/beauty imagery. Simply because of it's more creative freedom in terms of styling and use of costumes. Irving Penn's groundbreaking work in this regard has been a great influence. It is interesting to see a more inclusive editorial environment in the early days, where creativity has not been jeopardized. And quite a lot of control is handed on the creative himself.

This style of play in making art is what I enjoy.

More textures and vivid colors. Love the moody melancholic, mysterious energy of these visuals. I love to see creatives eyeing not just people or human elements but also abstract found objects around them. Which is hard to do, but if done well adds a layer to the narrative.

Love how typography goes with an image. And I love the energy in the other visuals. We see a lot of human elements in imagery these days. Glad to see something fresh with no extraordinary lighting setups, styling or prop use.

Been into South Asian poster art recently. These posters by Satyajit Ray are a visual proof to how prevalent the craft of Graphic design was in the editorial and book design world of India way before. I believe a lot of these designs were done in between the 60's-70's. Plus these posters reveal a much deeper layer of craft beneath the Auteur Satyajit Ray, whose use of design can also be seen in his film credits.

A page with Visuals with a contemporary feel and mostly produced by independent artists across the world of Instagram. The Algorithm really did bless me on this one.
